The Challenge

The Amber Rose SlutWalk. The Amber Rose Slut Walk is an a non profit event that is playing a monumental role in the movement towards art empowerment, gender equality, ending rape culture, victim blaming, slut and body shaming and other social injustice issues. This particular movement all began back in 2011 in Toronto when a police officer told a crowd of college women that if they wanted to avoid sexual assault, they shouldn’t dress like sluts. The SlutWalk has now become a global-movement with grassroots success in over 200 countries.The Amber Rose SlutWalk experience is unlike that of any other SlutWalk or feminist event in the world. The event provides a street parade, vibrant installations, artists, entertainers, and speakers to entertain, educate, and empower the SlutWalk audience, held annually in Downtown, Los Angeles.
