iGlow (Inspire Girls to Lead Our World),  a Chicago mentorship program for young girls. iGlow Mentoring seeks to effect change in young women by renewing minds, restoring values, while Inspiring Girls to Lead Our World. iGlow Mentoring is a non-profit organization that aims to increase the female sense of self-worth and emphasize how to be a successful young woman in today’s society. iGlow mentoring was founded by a girl, who was inspired by other girls. Using her knowledge and past experiences she is now motivated to Inspire other Girls to Lead Our World. Here at iGlow mentoring, we are dedicated to changing the lives of girls ages 8-19. The mission is to effect change in young girls by renewing their minds and restoring values. The goal of the organization is to increase their sense of self-worth and retrain them on what it looks like to be a successful young woman in today’s society.

 

Main Programs

  • Eight-week mentorship programming which focuses on issues young girls deal with concerning identity/value, achievement, peer pressure, relationships, and more.
  • Creation of iGlow programming that provides workshops and courses on self worth, self identity, maintaining healthy relationships, and ethical servant leadership.
  • Workshops and courses on self worth, self identity, maintaining healthy relationships and ethical servant leadership. The curriculum is specifically focused on helping iShine girls become shining examples of positive teens to the preteen girls coming behind them.
  • Creation of a workbook to help young ladies create an action plan on how they will achieve their educational and personal goals.
