Friends in the City Foundation is a financial resource for college students and provide resources to public schools students throughout the U.S.. It provides college scholarships and assistance to individuals with financial constraints, working directly with Chicago Public Schools. In addition to providing mentoring programs, FICF is in the process of implementing Chicago STEM Academy – the first Public Charter School of its kind on the Southside of Chicago.
