Kellye began her career in comedy in June, 2006, at the age of 24. A talent agent scouted her while she was working at Foot Locker, and he introduced her to local comedians within the Chicagoland area. These fellow comedians gave her an opportunity to perform stand-up as an opening act. Kelly Howard is a writer, speaker, actress, and stand-up comedian who’s been featured on Comedy Central, TBS, NBC, FOX, WGN, as well as several other media outlets.
Her primary goal is to motivate and inspire through performance and communications of any form. So whether you’ve seen her live as a stand-up comedian, or at a storytelling show, caught her latest podcast, or read something she’s written online, the themes are all the same; real-life experiences expressed in a sometimes comedic fashion.
