Ricky Lopez-Espin is a professional MLS player for David Beckham’s Inter Miami team. This soccer enthusiast is taking charge of his budding career and is devoted to being a positive voice for the LatinX community.

Born in Miami, Florida. At the age of 13, Ricky left his friends, family & life in Miami to pursue a soccer career and further his academics in Minnesota. After the hardest decision of his life, he started attending a USA soccer boarding school academy named Shattuck Saint Mary’s. He went to school here from 8th grade through 12th grade. Says Ricky “I committed to attend Creighton University to play division 1 soccer on a full athletic scholarship, a top 10 school for soccer.” He graduated a semester early with a degree in business administration & marketing, and was then entered into the 2018 MLS SuperDraft where he was drafted by Real Salt Lake.

Since then Ricky has played professional soccer for:
– Real Salt Lake
– Los Angeles Football Club
– Lansing Ignite
– For Lauderdale CF/ InterMiami CF (currently – David Beckham’s team)

Ricky works with ESPN+ broadcasting games, as the color analyst for professional soccer games streaming world-wide.
