Wilson Chandler

Wilson Chandler is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. Chandler, who was named Mr. Basketball of Michigan for 2005, played college basketball at DePaul University in Chicago. He was voted to the All-Big East second team his sophomore year and is 11th all-time for blocked shots at DePaul.

Chandler was selected by the New York Knicks with the 23rd pick in the first round of the 2007 NBA Draft. Chandler was traded to the Denver Nuggets in a blockbuster three-way deal during the 2010-11 season. He also played 32 games with the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association during the NBA lockout in 2011. In 2012, Chandler signed a contract extension with the Nuggets worth a reported $37 million over five years. In 2018, he played one season with the Philadelphia 76ers before he signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets.
