Cappie Pondexter

Cappie Pondexter Sports Camp

Cappie Pondexter is one of the greatest players and fiercest competitors in WNBA history.

Upon her retirement in 2018, two-time champion and multi-time All-Star Cappie Pondexter deserves credit for creating the current culture of the WNBA. Her off-court ventures, along with her on-court talent, demonstrate the multidimensional abilities and interests that define today’s WNBA stars.

During her career as a 5-9 shooting guard, Pondexter is the fourth-leading scorer in WNBA history. She also ranks sixth among the league’s all-time leaders in assists and free throws made. A seven-time WNBA All-Star, Pondexter won a pair of WNBA championships with Phoenix in 2007 and 2009. She was the Finals MVP in 2007 and played a key role in a five-game Finals series against the Fever in 2009. In 2011, she was voted in by fans as one of the Top 15 players in WNBA history.

Exact Publicity had a chance to work with Cappie when she launched her summer sports camp.
